Journal of Research Information in Civil Engineering (RICE) is a free-access international and multidisciplinary publication which reports on scientific and technical contributions. It is also an international peer reviewed scientific journal dedicated to publish high quality research papers, reviews, and short communications in the fields of environmental sciences, engineering, computer science, natural and technological sciences, medicine, architecture, industrial, and all other applied and theoretical sciences. RICE publishes invited review papers covering the full spectrum of the above fields. The reviews, both experimental and theoretical, provide general background information as well as a critical assessment on topics in a state of flux. The journal is primarily interested in those contributions which bring new insights, and papers will be selected on the basis of the importance of the new knowledge they provide.

Call for Papers
RICEwelcomes the submission of manuscripts that meet the general criteria of significance and scientific excellence in this subject area, and will publish:
· Original articles in basic and applied research
· Case studies
· Critical reviews, surveys, opinions, commentaries and essays
Our objective is to inform authors of the decision on their manuscript(s) within one month of submission. Following acceptance, a paper will normally be published in the next issue. The journal is both open (abstract) and subscription-based that increases the visibility and impact of published work. It also enhances indexing, retrieval power and eliminates the need for permissions to reproduce and distribute content. RICEwill provide free access to abstracts of articles as soon as they are published. A copy/e-copy of each issue attracts fees ranging between $120 (Individual) to $250 (Institutional). The payment instructions and copyright transfer statement are sent to the Corresponding Author after a paper has been accepted for further actions.
