TL;DR: Usage Tracker for Rork does not collect, store, or transmit any of your data to external servers. Everything stays in your browser.
Usage Tracker reads your Rork credit usage statistics (credits consumed, total allocation, percentage used) by extracting text content from the rork.com page within your browser. It reads the same data displayed in your profile menu and the Settings > Usage panel.
No project content, generated apps, prompts, or personal information is accessed.
All data is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's built-in chrome.storage.local API. This data:
Never leaves your computer
Is not sent to any server, API, or third party
Is not shared with the extension developer
Is automatically removed if you uninstall the extension
We do not collect personal information
We do not read your Rork projects or generated content
We do not track your browsing activity
We do not use analytics, cookies, or tracking pixels
We do not have user accounts or authentication
We do not make external network requests — all data is read from rork.com within your existing browser session
storage
Save your usage data and settings locally in Chrome. No data is sent externally.
alarms
Schedule periodic usage checks at your chosen interval (default: every 5 minutes).
tabs
Find an existing rork.com tab to read usage data from, and broadcast updates to the overlay widget on all open rork.com tabs.
scripting
Inject a small read-only script into your rork.com tab that extracts credit usage information from the page's visible text content. No user content is accessed.
host_permissions
Required to inject the usage data reading script and display the overlay widget on rork.com pages. The extension only operates on rork.com domains.
This extension does not integrate with any third-party services. The optional "Buy Me a Coffee" link on the welcome and options pages is a standard external link that opens in your browser — it does not transmit any data from the extension.
If this policy is updated, the changes will be reflected here with an updated date. No data practices will change without updating this policy.
