USD Passport lets you permanently delete your account and its data directly within the app — no email or web request needed.
Open the USD Passport app and sign in.
Go to Profile.
Tap the Settings tab at the top of the Profile screen.
Scroll to the Danger Zone section at the bottom and tap Delete Account.
Enter your password to confirm.
Tap Delete Forever.
Your account is deleted immediately — this cannot be undone, and there is no recovery period or grace window.
Can't sign in? Reset your password from the Log In screen, or email usdcampuspassport@gmail.com from the address on your account and ask for it to be deleted.
Your profile (name, email, and login credentials, plus your major, class year, hall, groups and two-factor settings)
Every stamp you've collected, on your phone and in your account backup.
Admin or event-organizer access, if you had any
Version 1.1.0 and up also deletes:
Your event ratings
Any stamps a staff member awarded you that hadn't reached your phone yet
RA records, if you're an RA (semester progress and rounds checkpoint scans)
On that phone: your saved settings and any event reminders you turned on
Version 1.1.2 and up also deletes:
Your event RSVPs and waitlist positions
Two-factor authentication credentials: If you enabled two-factor authentication, your authenticator pairing key (TOTP secret) and all cryptographic hashes of your emergency recovery codes are permanently erased from the server. (USD Passport uses standard authenticator apps and never collects your phone number or sends text messages; deleting your account completely destroys the authenticator pairing so no secrets or security tokens remain on any server)
Manager or distributor permissions, if assigned
Version 1.1.4 and up also deletes:
On-device biometric preferences: If you enabled Biometric Quick-Unlock (such as Apple Face ID, Touch ID, or Android Biometrics), all local biometric authorization preferences on that device are immediately revoked and reset.
Offline scan queue: Any pending event check-in scans cached locally in the device's offline scan queue (from Rapid Kiosk Mode or venue offline mode) are permanently purged from the local database.
If you attended an event that recorded attendance, that attendance record (your name, email, the event, and the time) is kept as part of the hall's administrative records, similar to a physical sign-in sheet — it is not deleted when you delete your account. It is retained indefinitely as an administrative log and is not linked to any other data about you once your account itself is gone.
No other data is retained. Nothing about you is kept for marketing, analytics, or any purpose beyond the administrative attendance record described above.
