The Neuroscience Club is hosting a Medical School Panel event featuring speakers at different career stages and current medical students. Our special guests include a pediatric neurosurgeon from Prisma Health and a 5th year neurosurgery resident at MUSC. This event is for anyone who wants to learn more about medical school including the application process, residency and the final job itself - neurosurgeon! This event is open to everyone interested, RSVP is required to attend.
Join the Neuroscience Club on October 25 at 3 pm in a tour of USC's School of Medicine Pharmacology, Physiology and Neuroscience Department. Faculty members will present their research, their labs will be open for tours and most importantly, there will be snacks! Attendees will also get the chance to meet PhD students in the department, and learn more about the MD program and the neuroscience track in the PhD program. Faculty presenters include: Dr. Marlene Wilson, Dr. Joseph McQuail, Dr. Jim Fadel, Dr. Lawrence Reagan, and Dr. David Mott.
Looking for a mentor to conduct undergraduate research with or need to fulfill an independent study requirement? The Neuroscience Club is hosting our first Research Blitz to help students identify faculty mentors whose research is in the interdisciplinary field of neuroscience. Some colleges represented include the College of Engineering, Darla Moore School of Business, Arnold School of Public Health, School of Medicine and the College of Arts and Sciences. Professors will give brief talks on their work followed by any questions. We hope to see you all there! This event is open to all majors and non-members are welcome!
Come out on Sept 3 to learn more about neuroscience at USC! We will be in Honors B111 from 6pm to 7pm where we will be able to answer all your questions about the club. Membership is open to all!
