Dates for Workshops

Workshop 1

• When: Wednesday, March 11th, 2020 at 6:00 PM

• Where: UofSC School of Medicine (Building 1, Room D27)

• What to bring: Any questions you may have regarding the material that you have been reviewing and anything you would bring for a normal school day (pencils, erasers, etc.)

Workshop 2

• When: Saturday, March 14th, 2020 at 12:00 PM (noon)

• Where: UofSC School of Medicine (Building 1, Room D27)

• What to bring: Any questions you may have regarding the material that you have been reviewing and anything you would bring for a normal school day (pencils, erasers, etc.)

Workshop Description

• Workshops will be hosted by graduate students from the UofSC Medical School with undergraduate assistants from UofSC. 

• They will go over a variety of topics that will be covered by the written and oral question portions of the competition.

• If time permits, they will also go into some additional practice for the National and International Brain Bees (such as identifying MRI structures, diagnosing neurological disorders based on characteristic signs and symptoms, and more).

• They will most likely be located on UofSC-Columbia's campus.

Once we have confirmed these dates we will email prospective student competitors with more information.
