I just bought a USB 2.0 802.11N wifi adapter from Monoprice. The adapter came with a CD of the drivers. I'm supposed to install the drivers, the insert the adapter and start a wifi network utility program. However, during the installation, it said that I would need to configure the network before it wold be usable. In any case, the computer recognizes the adapter for what it is in the system profile. However, nothing happens when I insert the adapter and the program doesn't run at all. I mean it doesn't even show up in the dock. I installed the 10.5 drivers and have 10.5.8 running. The network pane only has configurations for Ethernet, modem and VPN (maybe?) but no wifi. I'm pulling my hair out!
