The 2nd Ranger Battalion is the milsim and wargames part of 75th. They’re tasked with mostly reconnaissance and more realistic missions and operations. As they’re milsim, they are capable of knowing basic milsim things such as medical, different formations, and callouts. Which are all crucial in a deployment. The 2nd Ranger Battalion consists of two companies. Zeus Company is the "Special Operations Raid Force" which is tasked with retrieving hostages from enemy territory with the aid from Direct Actions. While Poseidon Company is the "Direct Action Raid Force" that supports Zeus company within 2nd Ranger Battalion with special operations raids force, they infiltrate enemy territory and clear it for the special operation raid force to clear out all hostages.
