I’m SSgt Hector De Leon Guzman. I am an active duty enlisted Air Force recruiter in San Jose, CA (McKee Road Office). I have been in the Air Force 10 years and have been stationed in Mary Esther, Florida (Hurlburt Field AFB), supporting the Air Force Special Operation Command (AFSOC) Mission all over the world. My job has taken me to Jacksonville, Arkansas (Little Rock AFB), Virginia Beach, Virginia (Naval Air Station Oceana), Clarksville, Tennesse (Fort Campbell), Las Vegas, Nevada (Nellis AFB), Clovis, New Mexico (Cannon AFB), Ramstein-Miesenbach, Germany (Ramstein Air Base), Puerto Rico, Ireland, Kuwait, and now San Jose, California. I’m married and have been blessed with two sons. I'm originally from Puerto Rico and before graduating college I move to the United States and joined the Air Force as an Aerospace Maintainer. One of the reasons why I joined was for the opportunity to acquire discipline and be more responsible to achieve my future goals.
Fortunately, I am on my way to reaching all my goals, thanks to the Air Force, as I have been able to complete my Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology Management with a minor in Information Technology Security. Additionally, I was able to obtain an Associates Degree in Applied Sciences, Aerospace Maintenance, and I'm working towards a second Associate Degree in Human Resources Management. Furthermore, I will be starting a Master's Degree in the finance field with the support of the Air Force's amazing education benefits. All to ultimately be able to achieve a commission in the US Air Force and establish my own business after 20 years of service.
Now, as a recruiter, I am focused on helping guide our young men and women who are interested in having a future with the U.S. Air Force and Space Force.

I’m SSgt John Raphael Navarro. I am an active duty enlisted Air Force recruiter in San Jose, Ca (Stevens Creek Office). I have been in the Air Force for 10 years and have been stationed in Fairchild AFB (Washington State), to support the Air Force Mobility Command (AMC) missions around the globe. After four and a half years the Air Force needed me at OSAN AB in South Korea where we supported our allies by providing them with the right training and equipment to defend their nation from their adversaries. I spend one and half years in South Korea before moving to Kirtland AFB (New Mexico) fulfilling the Air Force Global Strike Command (AFGSC) mission by maintaining their capabilities to strike anywhere at any given time around the world for three years. Additionally, I got the chance to deploy twice to Afghanistan and once to Abu Dhabi. I am originally from Philippines and decided to move to United States back in 2011. I am married with have been blessed with one daughter. I joined the Air Force as a Traffic Management Officer. I join the Air Force for multiple reasons to include free medical & dental benefits, free tuition assistance, and to travel.
Fortunately, I have been able to achieve my travelling goal while serving the United States Air Force. I have visited Ireland, Greenland, Oman, Romania, Germany and Korea. Additionally, with the help of the Air Force and the tuition assistance they provide, I am now a few classes away from my Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology. Furthermore, when me and my wife where bless with our daughter, medical bills where fully covered even if when she was outside the United States at the time. This blessing was possible thanks to the Air Force and I was able to keep going with my career without worrying about my medical expenses.
Now, as a recruiter, my main focused is to help our young men and women who are interested in having a future with the U.S. Air Force and Space Force achieve their goals.
