If you want a complete audio solution with a built-in microphone and dedicated design for sleeping, choose Ururtm Sleep Soundproof Earbuds; if you need durable, breathable replacement tips to extend the life of your current earphones, choose okcsc 2.
• Ururtm Sleep Soundproof Earbuds: The standout strength is its all-in-one design featuring soft silicone eartips specifically engineered for side sleepers with a built-in microphone and volume controls. Its trade-off is that it is a wired device limited to a specific frequency range, meaning it cannot play the full spectrum of high-fidelity music or connect wirelessly. This pick is for someone who needs an immediate, comfortable pair of headphones solely for sleep and meditation without buying separate accessories.
• okcsc 2: The primary advantage here is the material quality; these liquid silicone eartips are reusable, breathable, and designed to enhance bass response while providing a secure fit for various in-ear monitors. The major limitation is that this product contains no electronics, drivers, or microphone—it is purely an accessory that requires existing earbuds to function. This selection is best for owners of standard earphones who have worn-out tips or want to improve the sound isolation and comfort of their current gear.
The Ururtm Sleep Soundproof Earbuds are engineered with a singular purpose in mind: creating a barrier against noise while maintaining comfort during rest. The design utilizes super soft silicon eartips that are flexible enough to adjust to smaller or larger ear holes, ensuring they stay put even when you toss and turn. Because the sound components are fully encased in this soft but durable silicone covering, the earbuds are small enough to fit comfortably in any ear without causing pain during long listening sessions. This makes them particularly suitable for people who suffer from insomnia or snoring partners, as they effectively reduce outside noise by blocking out talking, street noise, and metro sounds.
For those looking to use these for basketball-related recovery or general relaxation, the package includes a bonus storage case which is essential for travel. The unit weighs only 15 grams, making it incredibly light so you can barely feel it in your ear. The inclusion of a built-in microphone and volume controller allows you to manage calls or switch between tracks without fumbling for your phone. While the frequency range is listed between 2000 Hz and 3000 Hz, focusing on the mid-range where speech resides, this is intentional for blocking distractions rather than delivering audiophile-grade music. If you need a simple, reliable way to fall asleep faster or meditate without the hassle of active noise cancellation technology, this is the tool for you.

However, you should skip this product if you require wireless freedom or deep bass performance. Since these rely on a 3.5 mm jack and lack Bluetooth connectivity, you are tethered to your device. Furthermore, the design prioritizes noise isolation over active audio enhancement, so if you plan to use them for intense workouts like basketball where sweat and movement are constant, the wired nature might be cumbersome compared to sport-specific headbands or clips. They are not designed for high-volume sports activities but rather for stationary rest, study, or quiet meditation.
The okcsc 2 product serves a completely different role in your audio ecosystem. These are not earbuds themselves but rather replacement accessories made from liquid silicone. Their primary function is to breathe new life into your existing in-ear monitors by replacing damaged, scratched, or missing tips. The material is chosen for its elasticity and durability, offering a comfortable touch that is superior to ordinary plastic or foam plugs. Because they are breathable, they help prevent the buildup of moisture and discomfort that often occurs during long periods of wear, such as during a commute, a workday, or a long flight.
These eartips are ideal for users who already own a pair of earphones but find them slipping out or losing their seal over time. The spherical bowl type design provides a high hold feel, which increases sound pressure and gives a slightly closer sense of space, effectively boosting the bass experience without changing the original driver of your earbuds. They come in a portable storage box, ensuring you never lose the small pieces when traveling. The blue color offers a distinct look, and the size is labeled as "Large," making them suitable for those who find standard tips too small. If you are a basketball player who uses in-ear monitors and has found your current tips wearing out after a month or two, these are a practical consumable upgrade to maintain your setup.
You must understand that purchasing okcsc 2 does not get you a new set of headphones. There is no microphone, no volume control, and no speaker drivers included. It is strictly a maintenance item. If you currently use cheap disposable earplugs and want a permanent solution for sleep or study, this product alone will not work unless you already have compatible earphones. Additionally, since they are consumables recommended for replacement every one to two months, you should view this as an ongoing cost of ownership for your audio gear rather than a standalone purchase.
• Best for total sleep solution → Ururtm Sleep Soundproof Earbuds (includes everything needed to listen immediately).
• Best for budget-conscious upgrades → okcsc 2 (lower cost if you already own functional earbuds).
• Best for side sleepers → Ururtm Sleep Soundproof Earbuds (specifically molded low-profile design for tossing and turning).
• Best for sound isolation → Both excel, but Ururtm blocks noise via physical mass while okcsc 2 enhances seal on existing buds.
• Best for hands-free calls → Ururtm Sleep Soundproof Earbuds (has a built-in microphone and controller).
• Best for breathability → okcsc 2 (liquid silicone is explicitly marketed as breathable for long-term wear).
• Best for portability → Both include storage cases, but Ururtm protects the whole unit while okcsc 2 protects just the tips.
• Best for battery-free use → Ururtm Sleep Soundproof Earbuds (wired, no charging required).
In my opinion, I would buy the Ururtm Sleep Soundproof Earbuds because they offer a complete, ready-to-use experience tailored specifically for the vulnerable moments of sleep and recovery. The ability to block out noise without needing active electronics or batteries, combined with the convenience of a built-in mic, makes it a far more versatile tool for a buyer who hasn't decided on a specific pair of headphones yet. While the okcsc 2 tips are excellent for extending the life of existing gear, they require you to already own a compatible device, limiting their utility as a standalone purchase. Whether you are trying to sleep through a snoring partner or need to focus during a quiet study session, the Ururtm design addresses the root problem of discomfort and noise directly. For anyone looking for a reliable companion for basketball recovery or general relaxation without the complexity of wireless setups, the Ururtm option is the clear winner.
While the Ururtm earbuds are not designed for active sports due to their wired connection, they are excellent for post-game recovery and listening to podcasts while resting. The okcsc 2 tips are great for keeping your existing sport earbuds comfortable during play, provided they fit securely.
Yes, the description states they are designed to replace damaged or missing earbuds on most in-ear monitors, though the "Bowl Type" shape means they fit best with compatible standard earbud stems.
They are not active noise-canceling headphones but provide passive isolation that reduces outside noise by approximately 70% to 90%, effectively blocking talking, street noise, and TV sounds.
Absolutely, they are listed for sleep use and are designed to improve listening experience and comfort compared to ordinary earplugs, provided you have a pair of earphones to attach them to.
