1. Scope & Acceptance
By downloading, installing, or using UrSelf ("we," "us," "our"), you agree to this Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal data in compliance with Apple App Store and Google Play Store requirements, as well as applicable data protection laws including the GDPR and CCPA.
2. Data We Collect
Personal Data We collect your email address, age, and gender to create and manage your account and personalize your experience.
Health & Fitness Data UrSelf is a workout tracking application. To provide its core features, we collect and store the following health and fitness data:
Workout sessions (date, exercises performed, number of sets and repetitions)
Load data (weight lifted per set, expressed in kg or lbs)
Performance metrics (duration, distance, personal records per exercise)
Exercise history and progression over time (maximum load, total volume per session)
Custom exercises created by the user, including target muscle groups
This data is entered manually by the user and is stored locally on the device and/or synchronized with our servers (Supabase) to enable cross-device access and data persistence. It is used solely to provide and improve the core features of the app (session tracking, progression charts, performance history). It is never sold, shared with advertisers, or used for any purpose other than delivering the service to you.
Automatic Data We use Sentry to collect crash reports and performance data, which may include device type and OS version, but never your email or health data.

4. Third-Party Services
Supabase: Hosts and secures your account data and workout data on PostgreSQL with industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. Servers are EU-based.
Sentry: Provides error-tracking and performance monitoring. Only anonymized technical data is sent — no personal data or health data is transmitted to Sentry.
5. Data Storage & Security
All personal data and health & fitness data are stored on Supabase's EU-based servers. We implement encryption, access controls, and regular audits to safeguard your information. Health data is never transmitted to any third party outside of the infrastructure providers listed above.
6. Sharing & Disclosure
We do not sell or share your personal data or health data with any third parties, except:
Legal requirements: To comply with legal obligations or court orders.
Service providers: Limited sharing with Supabase and Sentry strictly as described above.
The workout sharing feature (share link) allows you to voluntarily share a specific workout session with another user. Only the data you explicitly choose to share is included in the link. Sharing is always opt-in and user-initiated.
7. Your Rights
Under GDPR, CCPA, and analogous laws, you have the right to:
Access, correct, or delete your personal data and health data. You can delete your workout data or your entire account directly in the app (Settings > Account).
Withdraw consent or object to processing where relevant.
Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (e.g., CNIL in France).
Under CCPA, California residents have the right to know categories of data collected and the purpose, and to request deletion. No data is sold.
8. App Store & Play Store Compliance
App Store: We have submitted our Privacy Nutrition Label in App Store Connect, disclosing the collection of Health & Fitness data, and provided a privacy policy URL in our listing.
Google Play: We maintain a Data Safety form disclosing our data handling practices, including the collection of Health & Fitness data, and link to this policy in both the store listing and within the app.
9. Children's Privacy
UrSelf is not directed to children under 13. If we learn a user is under 13, we will delete their account and data immediately.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a revised "last updated" date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
