This half-day workshop will introduce finishing PhD candidates and postdoctoral researchers to early-career funding opportunities and effective grant-acquisition strategies. Researchers who have successfully secured early career grants, such as Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowships, Rubicon, Veni or similar, will share their experiences, practical advice, and lessons learned. Grant-support specialists from TU Delft will complement these perspectives with guidance on identifying suitable calls, developing a competitive proposal, and using institutional support effectively. The workshop will conclude with an interactive roundtable discussion focused on the critical elements of successful grant writing and the specific questions and challenges faced by participants.
