Over two days, participants will engage in full-scale simulations featuring side-by-side sessions: a physical setup on one side and a virtual setup on the other. Each Emergency Medical Team at the congress will tackle three full-scale scenarios: two physical and one remote.
Teams will earn "life points" for their patient by demonstrating excellent technical and non-technical skills. The two highest-scoring teams will advance to the final physical scenario, and the ultimate winner of the 2026 David Williams Sim’Cup will be the team with the highest score in the final!
12 minutes of full-scale simulation followed by a 20-minute debriefing (just like previous Sim’Cups).
ATTENTION: Each team must arrive on-site 10 minutes before their scenario begins.
From their own workplace, teams will connect via computer to the e-Sim’Challenge platform (a modern web browser and a stable internet connection are required).
Each participant will use their smartphone to send real-time commands to their on-site "avatar".
That's right! The e-Sim'Cup staff will act as your avatars live from the David Williams Sim'Cup arena in Berlin. Acting as a remote team, you will manage the manikin through us, and we will execute your every command via our dedicated web solution.
ATTENTION: Each team must be connected and ready 10 minutes before their scenario begins.
Discover this fantastic, fun challenge and give it your all! You might even win a GAUMARD manikin! ;)

DURATION: 16 hoursÂ
FORMAT: In-person training
Who should attend: Professionals working in Emergency Departments (Paramedics, Nurses, Residents/Junior Doctors, and Physicians).
Prerequisites: You must register as a multidisciplinary team.
Capacity: Limited to 10 teams (maximum of 4 professionals per team).
Pre-test: All participants must complete a pre-test before starting the Sim'Cup. (Link coming soon!)

Skills are graded on a scale of: Achieved / In Progress / Not Achieved.
Technical Skills: Evaluated using the CARE and TREATMENT items from the PRISM grid.
Non-Technical Skills (Soft Skills): Evaluated using CRM principles and the TEAM Score.
The overall team performance is evaluated using the PRISM grid, requiring an average score of > 60% to be validated.
All participants will receive a formal Certificate of Attendance.
