Gabriel is an architect from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) and holds a Master’s degree in Urban Economics from the Torcuato Di Tella University (UTDT). He was a Fellow of the Special Program in Urban and Regional Studies at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and is an Associate Researcher at the University of Geneva.
He currently serves as Head of the Local Planning Unit of the City of Nyon, Switzerland, where he coordinates the city’s main land-use planning instruments. In parallel, he works as an independent consultant, providing strategic advisory services to cities in Europe, Africa, and Latin America on Transit-Oriented Development (TOD) projects and public–private partnerships. He collaborates with multilateral organizations and international cooperation agencies such as the World Bank, the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the French Development Agency (AFD), UN-Habitat, and SECO.
Over a professional career spanning more than 20 years, he has held strategic positions in the design and implementation of urban policies, including the coordination of the Buenos Aires Urban Environmental Plan and the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Plan. He was Director of the Cities Program at CIPPEC (Argentina) and led urban and metropolitan innovation initiatives at MIT, as well as postgraduate training programs in metropolitan urbanism at the University of Buenos Aires.
Nadia holds a degree in architecture from the Geneva School of Engineering, a degree in environmental engineering from the Ingenieurschule Beider Basel, and a postgraduate degree in environmental and urban planning law (DESS) from the University of Limoges, as well as a CAS in environmental policy and ecological transition from IDHEAP, UNIL.
Currently Deputy Director of the Swiss Association of Municipal Infrastructure, she chairs technical committees in the fields of energy, climate and the environment.
She was responsible for environmental impact studies and Project Director for the production of natural hazard maps for the canton of Vaud. She has extensive experience in the public sector on issues of environmental and territorial public policy.
She occasionally lectures at several universities (UNIGE, UNINE, HEIG-VD) on the implementation of environmental law.
She contributed to Chapter 15: Environmental Assessments and Health Impact Assessments in Environment and Public Health (2023), published by Presses de l'EHESP.
Micaela holds a degree in Architecture from Torcuato Di Tella University (UTDT), a Diploma in Bases and Tools for the Integrated Management of Climate Change awarded jointly by the National University of Jujuy, the National University of Quilmes and the National Ministry of Environment in Argentina and a Diploma in Cities and Public Policies by the UTDT.
he has served as Technical Assistant in the Secretariat of Urban Infrastructure of the Ministry of the Interior, Public Works and Housing of the National Government, assisting provincial and municipal governments in urban infrastructure projects. She currently serves as Project Manager at Urbanteo and works in the Municipality of San Isidro, Buenos Aires, in the area of Urban Planning.
Micaela directed her career towards urban planning and sustainable development of cities through different national (FADU, UBA) and international (HSMI, Delhi, India) courses.
Federico holds a master's degree in Urban Economics with a specialisation in Data Science from Torcuato Di Tella University (UTDT). In his thesis, he analysed the relationship between Covid-19 and remote working practices and how this impacted different sub-centres in Buenos Aires.
He also holds a degree in Communication Sciences from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA). As a journalist, he writes in Spanish and English for various media outlets and edits #UnaCalleMeSepara, a weekly newsletter on urban issues.
Since 2024, he has served as Cultural Attaché at the Swiss Embassy in Argentina.
