The goal of the '1,000 mini-pitches campaign was (and is) the sustainable promotion of junior football. Two elements were essential to the project's initiators: The support of women also as boys. And improved integration of youngsters with a migrant background through shared sports experiences. Today, small pitches are spread throughout the area and are easily accessible to several children, thanks to their proximity to colleges.

THE OPTIMAL ARTIFICIAL TURF FOR SOCCER FIELDS
