Urantia Wisconsin

2018 Midwest Conference

Living the Teachings - Family in Action

June 22-24, Edgewood College, Madison, WI

  • Children (people in high school and younger) are free. They are not just an accommodation. Children are a primary part of the conference. We are actively inviting you to bring your children and grandchildren. We have a second generation reader experienced with young young children and youth ministry leading the children's program. There's even a budget. I think they're planning on buying a million dollars of glue and glitter.
  • Fees are great. $150 for both nights and all meals from Friday supper through Sunday lunch. Commuters (attending and eating Friday - Sunday, but not staying over night) pay $100.

Living the Teachings - Family in Action

The Urantia Book provides us with a new understanding of the concept of Family, using it as a platform to expand our understand of the Creator Son and Mother Spirit, of our responsibilities to our fellow Men and Women, and of God, the Universal Father.

Join us in Madison to explore how our understanding of Family influences our daily lives and our relationships with the Divine.

  • Worship experiences are being planned for all three days and will be in various formats.
  • MealsPlease email me with your food restrictions. Vegan, low salt, gluten free, non-dairy, nut allergies, etc. options are all available, but we need to give Edgewood the quantity of people requiring each option. If you have unusual food restrictions, you'll have to do what you always do when you travel. I apologize for this information not being on the registration form.
  • Lodging
    • Rooms at Edgewood are three beds to a room, two rooms share a connected bathroom (two sinks, two showers, one toilet with a lockable door) and comprise a suite. Edgewood is requesting us to have at least two people in each suite. Contact me if this doesn't work for you.
    • You must bring your own sheets, towels, and washcloths.
    • We will put single adults into one per room, but you will share a suite (bathroom). Your bathroom door is lockable.
    • This link should take you to a map of hotels in the area.

  • Registration deadlines have passed.
