This Privacy Policy explains how Upscale Pro ("Company", "we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you use our mobile application (the "Service"). Please read this Privacy Policy carefully.
By using the Service, and where required by law by providing consent inside the app, you agree to the practices described below.

2. Information We Collect
Upscale Pro is designed with a privacy-focused approach. We do not require user accounts, and we do not intentionally collect direct identity information such as your name, email address, phone number, password, or login credentials.
We only collect or process data that is necessary to operate the application, provide requested AI processing features, support subscriptions, maintain app reliability, display advertisements where applicable, and comply with legal obligations.
2.1 No Account or Personal Identity Data
We do NOT require users to create an account.
We do NOT collect or store:
- Names
- Email addresses
- Phone numbers
- Passwords
- Government identifiers
- Contact lists
The app may function using a device-generated App Instance ID and platform subscription status. This allows the Service to operate, manage app functionality, and support subscriptions without requiring a personal account.
We do not attempt to link this identifier to your real-world identity.
2.2 Photos, Videos, and Image Data
When you use Upscale Pro, you may choose to upload photos or videos from your device for AI-powered processing, including upscaling, enhancement, restoration, colorization, sharpening, or blur correction.
We collect only the specific media file that you choose for processing. We do not upload your entire photo library.
The selected media may contain personal information visible in the image or video, including faces, objects, locations, documents, or other private content.
What we temporarily process:
- The image or video you choose to upload
- Image or video pixels required for AI processing
- Generated output images or videos
What we do not collect:
- Biometric identifiers
- Faceprints
- Face templates
- Facial recognition data
- Face geometry for identity recognition
- Identity verification data
Uploaded media is used only to provide the feature requested by the user, such as AI upscaling, enhancement, restoration, colorization, sharpening, or blur correction.
We do not sell user photos or videos. We do not use user media for advertising, user profiling, face recognition, identity verification, or tracking.
2.3 Face Data
Upscale Pro does not collect biometric face data, faceprints, face templates, facial identity data, facial recognition data, or face geometry used to identify or authenticate a person.
Some user-selected photos or videos may contain visible faces. Any face visible in selected media is processed only as part of the user-requested image or video editing operation, such as image upscaling, enhancement, restoration, color restoration, sharpening, or blur correction.
Upscale Pro does not perform face recognition, face scanning, face mapping, face matching, face identification, identity verification, authentication, emotion analysis, or creation of face templates or faceprints.
If a selected image or video contains a face, the face is not separately extracted, identified, scanned, mapped, recognized, stored as biometric data, or used to identify any person.
Face information visible in uploaded media is not stored separately from the selected media file and is not used independently from the user-requested processing task.
We do not use user media or face-related image content for facial recognition, identity verification, tracking, advertising, user profiling, emotion detection, sensitive-characteristic inference, or machine-learning model training.
2.4 AI Processing, Storage, and Third-Party Service Providers
To provide AI-powered image and video processing, Upscale Pro securely transmits user-selected media to Upscale Pro’s processing server at api.higgsify.com and/or our local processing server.
Depending on the feature or enhancement model selected by the user, selected media may be processed by fal.ai and our local processing server solely to generate the user-requested output, such as an upscaled, enhanced, restored, color-restored, sharpened, or corrected result.
Upscale Pro may use Firebase, a Google service, for temporary storage of uploaded media, generated output media, processing records, app functionality, diagnostics, and related service operations.
These service providers receive or store selected media only as necessary to provide the requested app functionality. They are not permitted to use user media or any face-related image content for their own advertising, tracking, profiling, facial recognition, identity verification, or machine-learning model training purposes.
Upscale Pro does not sell user media and does not use user media for advertising, user profiling, face recognition, identity verification, or tracking.
2.5 Automatically Collected Technical Data
To maintain reliability, security, and performance, we may automatically collect limited technical information, including:
- Device type and model
- Operating system
- App version
- Anonymous device identifiers, such as App Instance ID
- IP address
- Crash diagnostics
- Performance data
- Basic interaction data
We use this data to operate the Service, maintain app stability, detect bugs, prevent abuse, improve features, and support app functionality.
We do not use this data to directly identify you personally.
3. How We Use Information
We use collected or processed data only to:
- Provide and operate the Service
- Process images or videos requested by you
- Generate enhanced, upscaled, restored, colorized, sharpened, or corrected results
- Display generated results inside the app
- Enable subscription functionality
- Maintain app stability and performance
- Detect bugs, technical issues, fraud, or abuse
- Improve features and user experience
- Display advertisements where applicable
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell, rent, or trade user data.
4. Data Retention Policy
We retain data only for as long as necessary to provide the Service.
Input Photos and Videos
Original uploaded input media is retained only as long as needed to complete the requested AI processing and deliver the result. Original input media may be temporarily stored in Firebase, on Upscale Pro’s processing server at api.higgsify.com, on our local processing server, and/or transmitted to fal.ai for processing.
Original uploaded input media is automatically deleted from our processing systems within 24 hours after processing is completed.
We do not permanently store original uploaded input media.
Generated Images and Videos
Generated output media may be stored in Firebase for up to 30 days from your last app activity to support the in-app library and allow you to view, download, or save your results.
Automatic Deletion
After 30 days of inactivity, generated media and associated processing data are permanently deleted from our servers.
Manual Deletion
You may delete generated media at any time within the app. Deletion removes the generated media from the user-accessible app library and our active storage systems.
Face Data Retention
Upscale Pro does not separately store biometric face data, faceprints, face templates, facial recognition data, facial identity data, or face geometry used to identify or authenticate a person.
Faces that may appear in selected media are handled only as part of the uploaded media file or generated output file and follow the same retention rules described above:
Original uploaded media that may contain faces is deleted within 24 hours after processing is completed.
Generated output media that may contain faces may be stored for up to 30 days from your last app activity to support the in-app library, unless deleted earlier by the user.
Technical Data Retention
Limited technical data, such as crash logs, diagnostics, app performance data, anonymous app identifiers, processing status records, and subscription-related records, may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to maintain security, prevent abuse, analyze app performance, support subscriptions, and comply with legal obligations.
5. Advertising and Analytics
Upscale Pro may use third-party services such as Google AdMob to display advertisements and measure ad performance.
These services may collect device identifiers, advertising data, technical usage data, and interaction data in accordance with their own privacy policies and applicable user consent settings.
Personalized Advertising
Where required, Upscale Pro requests user permission before allowing advertising partners to access data used for tracking or personalized advertising. If permission is not granted, advertising may be limited to non-personalized or contextual ads where supported.
You can also manage personalized advertising settings through your device settings:
iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Reset advertising ID or opt out of ad personalization
We do not control how third-party advertising providers use data collected through their own services, except where required by applicable agreements and privacy requirements.
6. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell user data.
We share limited data only as necessary to operate the Service:
AI Processing Providers
AI Processing Providers
When you choose to process media using AI features, your selected media is securely transmitted to Upscale Pro’s processing server at api.higgsify.com and/or our local processing server. Depending on the feature or model selected, selected media may be processed by fal.ai solely for the purpose of generating the requested result.
These providers receive the selected media only as necessary to provide the requested image or video processing functionality. They are not permitted to use the selected media or any face-related image content for their own advertising, tracking, profiling, facial recognition, identity verification, or machine-learning model training purposes.
Infrastructure and Service Providers
We may use trusted service providers, including Firebase, app functionality, diagnostics, crash reporting, subscriptions, analytics, advertising, security, and related service operations.
Advertising Providers
If advertisements are shown in the app, third-party advertising providers such as Google AdMob may collect device identifiers, advertising data, and technical usage data according to their own privacy policies and user consent settings.
Legal Requirements
We may disclose information when required by law, regulation, legal process, or valid governmental request.
Business Transfers
If Upscale Pro is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, asset sale, or transfer of business operations, limited data may be transferred as part of that transaction.
7. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect data, including encrypted transmission and secure cloud infrastructure.
However, no electronic transmission or storage method is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
8. Children's Privacy
Upscale Pro is not directed toward children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
If you believe a child has provided data through the Service, please contact us so we can promptly delete it.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of data associated with your device or app usage.
You may delete generated media at any time within the app.
You may also request deletion of data associated with your device by contacting support@higgsify.com. We may need limited information to locate the relevant app data, such as your App Instance ID or other support identifier shown in the app.

10. Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or policies of third-party websites or services.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy.
Continued use of the Service after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy, where permitted by applicable law.
