Our game Uproar uses this permission/feature strictly to support essential gameplay systems and provide players with a smooth, fair, and enjoyable experience.
How the feature is used:
We collect and store each player’s PlayFab ID and their unlocked cosmetic data (such as skins, outfits, or customization options).
This information ensures that purchases and unlocks are tied to the correct account and can be restored if a player reinstalls the app or switches devices.
The data is also required for multiplayer functionality, so players can join matches with their saved customizations and appear correctly to other players.
How this adds value to the player:
Players can safely purchase cosmetic items knowing they will be delivered and saved to their account.
Cosmetics are purely optional and do not affect gameplay balance—only appearance—so players enjoy personalization without unfair advantages.
Multiplayer sessions work correctly, since the system knows what items each player has equipped.
Why this is necessary for app functionality:
Without storing PlayFab ID and cosmetic data, we would not be able to:
Verify purchases or grant owned items.
Ensure multiplayer games display player customizations correctly.
Allow players to retain their progress across sessions or devices.
The feature is therefore necessary for core functionality: identity tracking, customization, and multiplayer integrity.
Privacy & Security Commitment
We do not collect device information, security information, or any unrelated personal data.
We only store what is needed for cosmetic ownership and multiplayer functionality.
Players can request deletion of their data at any time through our support form, where they provide their PlayFab ID so we can find and erase the correct account.
