This privacy policy applies to the UPQ app (hereby referred to as “App”, “The App”, or "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Sameer Patel (hereby referred to as "Service Provider"). This service is intended for use "AS IS".
Information We Collect
UPQ app uses a third-party AI service, fal.ai, to enhance photos and videos requested by the user. We do not retain user data after processing is complete, except where temporary storage is required to deliver the edited result to the user. User images and videos may contain faces; however, we do not collect, extract, analyze, or store face data. We do not perform face recognition or identify individuals.
User-provided images and videos are transmitted securely to fal.ai only to generate quality-enhanced results explicitly requested by the user. User data and related instructions are processed temporarily and are not used for any other purpose.
To generate results, user-provided images & videos and edit instructions are sent to the third-party AI service – fal.ai. The service processes the data only to complete the requested result and does not retain the data beyond processing. No biometric data, face recognition data, or personally identifiable face information is collected or shared.
We do not retain user-uploaded images or related data after processing is complete, except where temporary storage is required to deliver the edited result to the user.
Images and videos are uploaded and processed only after explicit consent from the user. Users must agree to the “Data & Privacy Disclosure” before accessing any AI-powered features.
UPQ may process images and videos uploaded by users that contain human faces. This section explains how such data is handled.
UPQ does not specifically collect, detect, identify, or extract facial data as a separate category of information. However, users may upload images or videos that contain human faces as part of using the app's features.
Images or videos that may contain faces are processed solely to provide the app's AI-powered features, such as photo enhancement, video enhancement, restoration, colorization, scratch removal, and image brightening.
Processing is performed using a third-party AI service provider, Fal.ai. UPQ does not perform facial recognition, face verification, face tracking, biometric identification, or create profiles based on facial features.
To provide AI processing, uploaded images and videos are securely transmitted to Fal.ai. These files are processed only to generate the requested output and are not sold or shared with advertisers or other third parties for marketing or profiling purposes.
Images and videos, including those that may contain faces, are processed temporarily to fulfill the user's request. UPQ does not permanently store uploaded images or face data after processing is complete, except where temporary retention is technically necessary to provide the requested service.
By uploading images or videos and using UPQ's AI features, you consent to the processing of your content, including any faces it may contain, solely for the purpose of providing the requested AI enhancements.
UPQ uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect uploaded images and videos during transmission and processing. Data is handled in accordance with applicable privacy and security standards.
Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to aid the Service Provider in improving the Application and their service. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties in the ways that are described in this privacy statement.

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
As required by law, such as to comply with a subpoena, or similar legal process;
When they believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect their rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
With their trusted service providers who work on their behalf, they do not have independent use of the information we disclose to them, and have agreed to adhere to the rules outlined in this privacy statement.
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes that may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers.
If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (sameerpatel.apps@gmail.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information that the Service Provider processes and maintains.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
This privacy policy is effective as of 1 July 2026.
By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as outlined in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
