About the club

The Upper Hutt Spinners and Weavers are part of Creative Fibre New Zealand (www.creativefibre.org.nz).

We promote all things related to wool including a wide range of techniques and crafts from spinning, dying, knitting, crochet, felting, weaving, and even narlbinding.

Membership entitles you to join in with regular special events held at the club, around the region and the country.  Four Creative Fibre magazines a year, access to the learning library of books & DVDS, access to scholarships and special interest groups.

Local classes are arranged dependent on interest. Much of the joy of being part of this club is the open sharing of knowledge that happens at all our meetings.  All ages and genders welcome.

Please feel free to contact us, or just drop by to say hello. We’d love to see you.

Upper Hutt spinners and weavers meet thrice weekly at our club rooms in Trentham railway station building.
