A friend shared with me that the ski season follows the icons at the bottom of a Facebook post. That feels about right. Introduce new people to the sport (Like)
Spend quality time with great friends who love to water-ski (Love),
See some great crashes (Haha)
Try something new and achieve a personal best (Yay, Wow!)
Now the Sad. Our 2020 season is nearing an end. To ensure we can "hit it" again in the spring, and avoid the Angry winter, we need to start putting things away. Please see the short list of things we need get done before ice appears (brrr).
If you are not sure what needs to be done when you arrive to help, please check in with the work coordinator to find out what you can do. It may seem like a small thing - but merely being on hand to walk out a wrench to somebody who left it on shore, or dropped it in water, can be a great time saver. If you can't make a work date this year, please reach out to one of the coordinators to see if there is anything you can do before or after (many hands make light work!).
A short but not exhaustive list of events planned and what needs to be done is below. Thank you to all who have volunteered to ensure safe starts and happy endings continue.....
Jump ramp (tow, beach, and disassembly) - RSVP to Rich Miller (multiple dates)
8AM, Saturday, Sept 26 - tow to shore, remove curtains, temp jacks (need 4-5 people)
