Why did I wipe the podcast from the internet? I lost the desire to keep doing it about five years before I actually quit for good. I know if I left the site up, I would have kept adding to it. I do miss it sometimes but I would need to do something as a completely different project if I started it back up and at this point, I am not sure what that would be so I created this site instead.
I return to work December 15, 2025. My last official day at the old job was September 5th although I really stopped working on August 27th since I had vacation and personal days to use up. They are still paying me not to work
It has been a long and at times quite boring break. I have organized files, drawers, the garage, the shed, the attic, etc. I have run out of things to organize.
At the end of October, I signed up for some "gig" apps so I could get out and about a bit and stop sitting here losing my mind between interviews and those experiences have been interesting and would have been great podcasting fodder if I still had one.
Today, I delivered a drug store order to someone who told me through the front door that they had recently had surgery and then I got paid a very small amount to look for a box of Hot Hands in a discount store. Sometimes I deliver tires. Sometimes I take pictures of landscaping. I decided to avoid delivering food. I know what it's like to be hangry so I prefer to avoid dealing with hangry people.
No, I didn't misspell hungry in the point above.
