UPI Dost ("we", "our", or "the App") is developed and operated by Niranjan V.
This Privacy Policy explains how UPI Dost collects, uses, stores, and protects information when you use the application.

UPI Dost is designed to generate UPI payment QR codes and maintain payment QR history locally on your device.
The App may allow you to enter and store:
Business or merchant name
UPI ID/VPA
Payment amount
QR generation history, including amount, date, time, merchant name, UPI ID, and QR generation status
This information is primarily stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to our servers.
The App does not ask for or store:
UPI PIN
Bank account passwords
Banking credentials
OTPs
Credit/debit card information
UPI Dost generates UPI payment QR codes using the UPI ID and payment amount entered by the user.
The App does not process, receive, or confirm UPI payments.
A QR code being generated does not mean that a payment has been completed. The actual payment is performed through the customer's chosen UPI application or banking application.
UPI Dost does not have access to the customer's bank account, UPI PIN, OTP, or payment credentials.
Merchant settings and QR generation history may be stored locally on your device so that the App can provide its features without requiring an online account or backend server.
You can delete locally stored history through the App's settings where such functionality is provided.
Uninstalling the App may also remove locally stored application data, subject to Android's data-management behavior.
UPI Dost uses Google Analytics to understand how users interact with the application and to improve its performance and user experience.
Google Analytics may collect information such as:
App usage and interaction events
Device and app information
Approximate geographic information
Session information
Diagnostic and technical information
Analytics information is used for purposes such as understanding feature usage, identifying problems, measuring application performance, and improving the App.
We do not intentionally send your UPI PIN, OTP, banking credentials, or other sensitive payment credentials to Google Analytics.
Google may process information according to its own privacy policies.
UPI Dost uses Firebase services provided by Google for application functionality, diagnostics, analytics, configuration, or related development and operational purposes, depending on the Firebase services enabled in the App.
Firebase may process technical information such as:
Device information
Application version
Operating system information
App events and usage information
Crash or diagnostic information
Anonymous or pseudonymous identifiers
Firebase information helps us maintain, troubleshoot, secure, and improve the application.
We do not intentionally use Firebase to collect UPI PINs, OTPs, banking passwords, or other banking credentials.
UPI Dost uses OneSignal to provide push notifications when notification functionality is enabled.
OneSignal may process information such as:
Device and operating system information
Push notification identifiers
App version and technical information
Notification interaction information
An identifier associated with the application installation
Notifications may be used to provide relevant application messages, updates, reminders, or other notifications.
You can control notification permissions through Android's system settings.
OneSignal processes information according to its own privacy policy.
The App may use third-party services including:
Google Analytics
Firebase
OneSignal
These providers may process certain technical, diagnostic, analytics, or notification-related information as necessary to provide their services.
Third-party services operate under their respective privacy policies and terms.
We take reasonable measures to protect information handled by the App.
Sensitive banking information such as UPI PINs, OTPs, passwords, or banking credentials is not requested or stored by UPI Dost.
However, no electronic storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
We do not sell your personal information.
Merchant information and QR history stored locally by the App are not intentionally uploaded to our own servers.
Information may be processed by third-party service providers such as Google Analytics, Firebase, and OneSignal as described in this Privacy Policy.
We may also disclose information where required by applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
UPI Dost is not specifically directed toward children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe that a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at ncapsinfo@gmail.com.
You can:
Edit or remove merchant information stored in the App.
Delete QR generation history through the App where the feature is available.
Disable notifications through Android settings.
Stop using and uninstall the App at any time.
You may also be able to control certain analytics or advertising-related permissions through your Android device settings.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, services, or applicable legal requirements.
When changes are made, the updated version will be posted with a revised effective date.
We encourage you to periodically review this Privacy Policy.
