Mabbz is a hip hop artist (rapper), also versatile with any genre additionally. Mabbz (Abonga Mabovula) was born in Lusikisiki, raised in Margate and later finished his studies in Durban, he studied music in Creative Arts College, went to Jo'burg to persuade his music career but then while pushing his music career he studied graphic design at Bizcre8 incubation center, then he worked for a Pretoria film school company named "Leaders in motion academy (Lima)". He's performed on stage with many locals artists, he worked on "So Much More mixtape, Liana EP and many singles on the side. MABBZ is planning to work with some well recognized musicians this year (2023) and local Artists.you can follow  on all digital Platforms.

Hlumile Mangoloti (born 25 March 1998), professionally known as Flash Ikumkani, is a South African rapper and songwriter from Peelton, King William’s Town in the Eastern Cape, where he was born and raised. Flash Ikumkani is a Hip Hop artist known for his unique vocals. Among this, he is also known for his great ability to rap in his home language, isiXhosa, while mixing in English. Making the music that Flash makes an extension of his identity as a Xhosa man but also as a well-learned rapper. There is something distinctly fresh about Flash. He is effectively lending his voice to making his native tongue cool. And this is not the watered-down version of his language, but it is the raw and authentic version that is not highlighted in the mainstream.

Mfana Jones Hlophe is a South African actor, singer and dancer best known for his role as Jabu in the SABC1 drama series Soul City, from 2006-2007.He studied in Durban and matriculated in 1987. With his skills in music he joined Mbongeni Ngema School of Art (Committed Artists) and was chosen to join the second company of Sarafina! in 1989, touring Europe.

In 1992 he decided to upgrade his career and went on to Gibson Kente's School of Art where he started writing his scripts under Kente's guidance.

In 1993 he got a role in Kente's Mfowethu and performed in Bloemfontein (PACOFS). In 1994 he joined the African Research and Puppetry Programmes (AREPP) and learned to be a puppeteer for almost a year.In 1995 he composed music and played a lead role in a European company called Euro-stage and with the cast of Isikulu toured European countries.

In 1997 Mfana was chosen to play a lead role in Ipi Ntombi.He has been in productions at the Market Theater such as Five Guys Named Mo, Woza Albert, The Necklace, Bergville Stories and choreographed Unsung Heroes by Doris Sihule. He directed an AIDS show called Waiting that targeted tertiary schools in Gauteng.

In his free time he teaches African Dance at Moyo Studios and creates new songs and dances with artists who have upcoming gigs.On television he has featured in Stokvel, Emzini Wezinsizwa, Mama's Love, Soul City and Khululeka.In 2013 he had a guest role as Mr Xaba on the Mzansi Magic telenovela isiBaya and in 2015 he guest starred on Zabalaza

Mfana Jones Also has done a couple of music with AwonMnyuzik @Mnyuzik Junkie Entertainment,Which he is about to release visuals of a single titled Come Back produced by AwonMnyuzik.

Background

Thandeka Vabaza, aka NKQO was born and bred in the homelands of former Transkei in a small town called Mthatha. He is son to Rev. P.N. Vabaza of the Methodist Church of Southern Africa .  This youthful live wire is charged from a religious background which transmits throughout his works.  Nkqo made his stage debut in 2003, when fellow artist, M.X.O announced him on stage to his surprise and natural challenge. In 2004 Nkqo and his student friends formed an urban hip-hop act called Louzy Living. In 2005 Louzy Living released an underground mixtape titled “Take A Seat” with two track singles getting airplay on radio stations like Umhlobo Wenene fm (Slyso breakfast show), KQfm, UCRfm and Bayfm in the Eastern Cape. In 2005 he won the Yfm Poetry Sessions staged at the legendary Horror Café in Newtown, Johannesburg. Due to his growing popularity, in 2005 Nkqo was invited to co-host Miss Port Elizabeth Technikon Residents Beauty Pageant. In 2006 his debut music video: “Ntombazana Emhlotshazana” went on to compete on an M.net online film festival for best video.

In 2007 he was one of the panel members of the Arts Alive poetry workshop held at the Market Theatre. Nkqo was part of “The Big 5 Summer Tour ’07” with four other local artists. He has done television appearances on programmes like the SABC One’s cultural magazine programme, Headz-up Mzansi and Channel O’s youthful programmes, Oboma and Head Rush. Nkqo has shared stages with both local and international stars like  Bongo Maffin (SA), HHP (SA), Mzwakhe Mbuli (SA), Gcina Mhlope (SA), Zena Edwards and Samantha Thornhill.

TKVH Productions cc introduces its rising star, NKQO, an Outspoken Wordsmith / poet and songwriter. Nkqo has been around the poetry scene for a couple of years now and has managed to spread his word across the country to spoken word lovers, fellow artists and other industry players. He is the voice behind the poetic jingle on Yfm’s Kamakazi breakfast.

Nkqo is a talented writer with a Xhosa trademark tongue that clicks rhymes that sound like high heel shoes at night meant to thrill lusting souls. Xhosa never sounded so alive in this modern age, he’s a true native son.

What’s refreshing about this artist, it’s his ability to expose himself to connect with his listeners, by giving life to each word he utters and activates the imagination, inviting you to his creative world, giving the listener an insight to his past background (A life of a homeland boy). He has been interviewed by numerous radio station deejays across the country, made newspaper articles and worked with a hand full of upcoming artists and producers.

This thought-provoking Outspoken Wordsmith is armed with social-conscious lyrics that tackle subject matters like a skillful hunter. Nkqo is currently presenting his “One Man Show” all over the Eastern Cape. He is busy in studio recording his debut album, Indlebe lisela.

Kevin Riss

When people from the music industry hear the name Kevin Thabang Ntaopane also known as Kevin Riss, they smile as they know him as humble musician, manager and a community builder. Ntaopane started his music career in 1994 when he was still in school, in a small township called Vrededort in Mokwallo, Free State.

 

Ntaopane says after he matriculated in 1996, he relocated to Johannesburg in Eldorado Park and later moved to Freedom Park where he shifted his focus on community building projects.

 

“In 1998 I facilitated my first computer skills and business administration initiative at E.W Hobbs Tswelopele Learning Centre in Freedom Park. The Centre empowers the youth in the area and assists them to enhance their computer skills”.

Ntaopane says giving back to the community makes him happy as he can make a difference in the community.

At the height of his music career in 1997, Ntaopane joined a group called 2KVT, which birthed Kevin and Kingdom.

“During this period we performed and entered different competitions and in 1999 we entered a television competition which was called Gumba Fire”.

 

Ntaopane and his crew managed to qualify as runner ups at the competition, where they attracted a lot of promoters and record companies. However, things changed in 2009 and the name of the group was also changed to K Dynasty.

“During that time we started an initiative called Kwaito Legendary on the Move and managed to work with Kwaito Legends on our very first album, however the album was not released” says Ntaopane.

In 2015 he initiated a reading programme called Rubberband Book Worm for early childhood development. The programme included dyslexic programme for primary and secondary pupils and it improved a lot of children’s lives,” said Ntaopane.

 

Ntaopane was coached by big names in the entertainment industry such as Mzwakhe Mbuli, Blondie Makhene, Mduduzi Tshabalala also known as Mandoza, Mshoza, Jakarumba, Simphiwe Bravisios ,Royalty Blue Blood Vicky Vilakazi, Herve Charmpagne and upcoming Dj Sanza also known as Beat Oven.

 Ntaopane currently released a song called Mongwaneng where he featured Bravo and Big Robza the track has since been a club banger.
