I am Upamanyu Moitra, a theoretical physics postdoc at the Institute of Physics, University of Amsterdam, Netherlands.  

I obtained my PhD from TIFR India and had my first postdoctoral stint at ICTP Trieste in Italy. My interests in physics are wide-ranging – from formal theory to sophisticated experiments. My present research interests include string theory, quantum field theory, gravitation and cosmology. I have been involved in activities promoting science awareness since my childhood.
