SUNY Old Westbury has been selected as one of 100 Colleges and Universities to compete in a national Up to Us program!
The Up to Us program harnesses the ideas, creativity, and energy of students nationwide to build awareness and generate action around the issue of long-term national debt.
The purpose of this survey is to help the Up to Us SUNY Old Westbury team investigate opinions, attitudes, and knowledge of SUNY Old Westbury students about fiscal policy and national debt. More precisely, the survey is split into 3 sections. In the first section we will be asking you about your attitudes and opinions about current fiscal policy (government taxes, spending, fairness, etc). In the second section, few questions will test your basic knowledge of fiscal policy. Finally, in the third section we will ask you some basic demographic questions (your age, sex, race, year in college, etc.).
Confidentiality: All information collected will be used only for our research and will be kept confidential. The survey is anonymous and there will be no connection to you specifically in the results or in future publication of the results.
Risks: There are no risks to the participants. However, some of the questions included in the survey are personal. If any question is too personal, you don’t have to answer it. At any moment you can end your participation in this survey without explanation.
