Pints with Aquinas (July 5th)

  • What: Pints with Aquinas
  • When: Friday - July 5th
  • Time: 5:30PM to 9:00PM
  • Where: Clear Water Academy

As an official chapter of Matt Fradd's Pints with Aquinas, UCCC is inspired to host another evening of fellowship and theology! Pints with Aquinas, put simply, is an event where we have theological discussions, prompted by questions from St. Thomas Aquinas's Summa Theologiae, over some drinks.

The Summa Theologiae is a vast summary of the Catholic faith written in the 1200s by arguably the most renowned theologian in the history of the Church, St Thomas Aquinas. Citing Holy Scripture, Aristotle and St Augustine among many others, St Thomas masterfully delves into practically every realm of theology with scholastic precision.

It is our hope that in joining like-minded students who also thirst for knowledge and truth, this Pints with Aquinas event will not only offer you an opportunity for fellowship but a greater understanding of all that deals with God, man, virtue, the Sacraments and morality.

All are welcome, so invite your friends and we hope to see you Friday, July 5th at Athlone Hall in Clear Water Academy! There will be a dinner provided along with some beer and wine. Afterwards, we will be heading to Denny's as well!
