The Orthopaedic & Rheumatology (THOR) Society is a student run society by like-minded individuals who aim to promote orthopaedic surgery and rheumatology within Aberdeen medical school. Most if not all of us know either a friend or family member affected by a musculoskeletal problem such as osteoarthritis. This outlines the importance and relevance of orthopaedic surgery and rheumatology!

Here at THOR, we are excited to bring to you a multitude of interactive lectures and workshops in which you will gain an understanding and some experience into what a life in either speciality would involve. So, if you have ever considered an interest in orthopaedic surgery/rheumatology or are just curious, come along to our events and learn something new!
