Aperio ("we," "us," or "our"), developed by Power Star APPS, is a file management utility designed for Android devices. Our primary functionality includes file extraction, file compression, and the compression of specific media types such as images, videos, and PDF documents. We are committed to protecting your privacy while providing efficient file processing tools.

To provide the services within Aperio, we require specific system permissions. We only request permissions that are strictly necessary for the app's technical operations. The following table outlines the permissions requested by this application:
Full Network Access - android.permission.INTERNET
Allows the application to create network sockets for internal app stability checks and general connectivity requirements.
View Network Connections - android.permission.ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE
Allows the app to view information about network connections such as which networks exist and are connected.
Dynamic Receiver Permission - com.hy.unzip.DYNAMIC_RECEIVER_NOT_EXPORTED_PERMISSION
A custom permission used to secure internal app components and manage dynamic broadcast receivers safely within the application environment.
We process the limited technical information and system permissions requested for the following specific purposes:
Provision of Core Services: To enable the local extraction, compression, and management of files, images, videos, and PDFs as initiated by the user.
Technical Stability and Performance: To monitor network connectivity (via ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE) to ensure the app remains stable.
App Security: To protect the integrity of the application through secured dynamic receivers.
Functional Improvements: To diagnose technical issues and optimize processing speed.
We believe in absolute data privacy. Aperio is designed to function without the collection of any personal user data.
Personal Information: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any identifiers.
File Data: All file processing is performed locally on your device. We do not upload your files, images, videos, or PDFs to any external servers.
Device Identifiers: We do not collect IMEI, AAID, or other persistent device identifiers.
Third-Party Sharing: Aperio does not share any personal data with third parties.
Right to Know About Sharing: Under the CCPA, you have the right to know whether your personal data is shared with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising. We confirm that we do not share any personal data for such purposes.
Sale of Data: We do not sell your personal data. You have the right to know that your data is not sold to any third parties.
SDKs: Aperio does not integrate any third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising, or tracking.
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
Retention Period: Since Aperio does not collect personal identifiers or upload files to servers, we do not maintain a database of user data. Any technical data used during a temporary active session (such as network state checks) is processed in real-time and is not retained after the session concluded.
Criteria for Retention: In the event that you contact us via email, we will retain your communication (including your email address) only for as long as needed to resolve your inquiry or as required by applicable laws.
Deletion: Once the purpose for processing is fulfilled, we securely delete or anonymize the data.
For users located in the European Economic Area (EEA), the legal basis for processing any technical data is the performance of the contract and our legitimate interest in ensuring technical stability. You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe our processing violates the GDPR.
