The device will be tested in a wet environment, simulating how the device will be interacting with hoses that will be filled with water. Testing will also be done on the integrity of the shaft. We plan on using the device to roll a hose and rest two hoses on the shaft to see how well it holds.

Another point of interest will be how well the device rolls the hose. We do not want the device to take too long to roll the hose. Depending on the results, we may need to provide more power to the winch motor or revise the gear mechanisms of the winch to allow it to revolve more times per second.

A frame analysis is to be done in SolidWorks to determine the structural integrity. This data can help to determine if any points on the frame need to be reinforced or structurally revised.
