CONFERENCE VENUE
The workshop will take place on Coogee Beach (located in the beautiful Eastern suburbs of Sydney), which is a renowned place for ocean activities, bars, and restaurants. The workshop will be held at the Coogee Surf Life Saving Club (https://www.coogeesurfclub.com.au), which is perched directly on the rocky shoreline above the southern end of the beach.
The Coogee Surf Life Saving Club is a foundation member of the surf lifesaving movement in Australia. It has a proud history of no lives being lost in the surf whilst its members have been on patrol.
The Coogee SLSC Clubhouse is located at the south end of Coogee beach. Coogee Beach is a beautiful spot, and it’s sometimes hard to believe it is only 15 minutes from the hustle and bustle of central Sydney.
There are many activities to enjoy in this little slice of paradise. Spot a whale or two during migration season, see a pod of dolphins swim by, or take a stroll on the coastal walk and enjoy an array of popular cafes, restaurants and pubs.
Getting to the Coogee Surf Lifesaving Club

Transport: The easiest way to get to Coogee Beach from Sydney International Airport is via a Taxi, taking about 15 minutes. A public bus (Route 350) also operates from the airport to Coogee Beach.
