July 2017 update:
This workshop was initially planned to last 3 hours, but only 90 minutes could eventually be scheduled in the final conference program. Therefore, the call for proposal and submissions had to be cancelled, unfortunately.
To enhance the variety and breadth of presentations during the workshop, we invite submissions compatible with the general aim of the workshop: to inform and engage eHealth professionals about unstructured clinical data reuse opportunities, risks, and requirements, and explore novel techniques to extract additional value from unstructured clinical data as well as share successful exploits of secondary data use.
Topics of Interest
Possible topics for submission include, but are not limited to:
- Important and novel aspects of unstructured clinical data reuse
- Existing cases of unstructured clinical data reuse for research and quality improvement
- Research challenges and opportunities for the design and use as well as evidence base of different types of solutions supporting secondary use of unstructured clinical data.

Manuscript submission deadline: July 1, 2017
Decisions sent to authors: July 15, 2017 (expected)
Workshop: August, 2015 (exact date in Medinfo 2017 conference program)
Submission and Peer Review Process

All submissions will be subject to a peer-review process. Authors should format and structure their submissions as a 1-page manuscript (not counting references, tables, or figures), according to the guidelines specified at: http://medinfo2017.medmeeting.org/Content/32516
