The conference will be held in the Humanities Research Centre, Bowland Auditorium, within the Berrick Saul Building, located on the Heslington West campus. The University of York campus map can be used to help in locating the building.
Getting to York is easy from anywhere in the world. We have great rail links, easy access to major road networks and short travel times to international airports. The 66 and 67 First Bus services run frequently from York railway station to Campus West (University Library stop) via the city centre.

York has a rich and vibrant heritage, which is celebrated alongside contemporary culture. Coffee shops nestle within the historic city walls, and wizards may be found in The Shambles - York's most famous Medieval street.
There are lots of visitor attractions in York, from the JORVIK Viking Centre, to York's Chocolate Story, as well as cafes and eateries to suit all tastes. You can enjoy a cruise on the River Ouse or take the road train to the Railway Museum. We even make our own gin!
