2026 BEE INFORMATION
Join us for a night of calculation conundrums as the UNR Integration Bee starts up for the 2026 season! Much like the spelling bee after which it was named, the Integration Bee pits student against student to showcase their analytical skills in fast-paced, head-to-head integral-solving action.
Qualifying Exam
Prior to the Bee, all registrants must take the Qualifying Exam, which is administered by the University Math Center (PSAC 300). Registrants can take the Qualifying Exam anytime during the Math Center's regular operating hours between Monday, March 30th, and Thursday, April 2nd, as well as Friday, April 3rd, from 9am - 1pm. Show your proof of registration and your WolfCard to the Front Desk at the Math Center to take the exam.
The Qualifying Exam is a multiple-choice test containing 12 definite integrals with a time limit of 45 minutes. Like the AMC 10 & AMC 12, each problem has 5 answer choices, correct answers are worth 6 points, problems left unanswered are worth 1.5 points, and incorrect answers are worth 0 points.
At least the top 8 scorers on the Qualifying Exam will qualify to compete in the Bee. All registrants will be emailed on Thursday, April 2nd with the results of the Qualifying Exam. Regardless of placements on the Qualifying Exam, all registrants are strongly encouraged to attend the live event on Friday, April 3rd, 2026, and try solving the integrals themselves from their seats where the pressure's off.
