Charity Concert for Africa

The orchestra is extremely excited about our next big event, which will take place on 7 November 2013 at 7:00pm, at the Symphony Space. We will join forces with an amazing young violinist of international fame, Ryu Goto from Japan. The programme of the concert is as follows:

A. Borodin: "In the Steppes of Central Asia" (Symphonic Poem)

N. Paganini: Concerto for Violin and Orchestra no. 1 (soloist: Ryu Goto)

P. I. Tchaikovsky: Symphony No. 2 ("Little Russian")

The proceeds of the concert will benefit two African charities: "African Development Initiative" from Ghana, and "Teamwork City of Hope" from Tanzania.
