Information, Advice and Guidance Toolkits

We've created a set of online resources that bring together useful information, advice and guidance around Higher Education into one place.

Grouped by topics, these free toolkits are available online for whenever you need them, and are designed around the topics we think are important for young people to know about when deciding what to do after school or college.

Topics cover more about choosing a course and university, navigating the process of applying, and what you can do once you graduate.

University of Sussex Access Programme

The University of Sussex Access Programme offers students support, guidance and experiences to help navigate their post-16 education options. It aims to help you make more informed choices about your future, and the steps you need to take to get there.

The programme is completely free, and offers you all the tools you might need in one place, allowing you to shape your own journey. You'll have access to on campus workshops and residentials that cover a range of topics and academic subjects, hearing directly from current students and academic staff. Click below to find out more about the programme, including details of how you can join.

Contextual Offers

The University of Sussex recognises that not everybody has the same support to help them get to higher education. Contextual offers are one of the ways we remove barriers to higher education ensuring that we have fair access to all, regardless of background.

A contextual offer is a reduced grade offer, and varies across our courses. For more information follow the link below.

If you are a registered student on our Sussex Access Programme and meet our widening participation criteria for Access Plus, you will be eligible for a contextual offer.
