Alfred University is located in the Village of Alfred, New York, in the foothills of the Allegheny Mountains. The University is about an hour west of Corning and an hour and a half south of Rochester by car.
The conference will primarily take place at the Powell Campus Center, a multi-use building with lecture halls, conference rooms, and workshop spaces in the heart of campus.
The Village of Alfred has about 4000 residents and a walkable downtown. Main Street, directly next to Alfred University, is home to restaurants, shops, and a Farmer's Market on Sundays.

The closest airports to Alfred are Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC), 76 miles to the north, and Elmira Regional Airport (ELM), 64 miles to the east.
Car
Alfred, New York is located 6 miles south of Interstate 86, off of exit 33. Follow state route 21 south, then turn right onto route 244. Parking will be available at Alfred University.
Bus
