Director, Chief Executive Officer:  Steve Mayers, BASc, MASc

Steve Mayers graduated with a masters degree in Chemical and Biomedical Engineering including a certification in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Small business from the University of Toronto. He has five years of industrial experience spanning research and development in reaction kinetics to process development for a leading biological pharmaceutical company. He  has experience leading  large-scale projects in the pharmaceutical sector with extensive experience in downstream purification and good manufacturing practices (GMP). Steve developed the core RBC production platform technology and is leading the company's research and development and commercialization strategy. Steve is also the founder and CEO of Zeus Biologics Ltd (www.ZeusBiologics.com).

Senior Scientific Adviser: Julie Audet, BSc, MSc, PhD, PEng

Julie Audet is a a professor at the Institute for Biomaterials and Bioengineering and the Vice-Dean of Graduate studies for the Faculty of Applied Science and Engineering at the University of Toronto.  She has academic experience in the analysis and manipulation of cytokine synergism in stem cell cultures for the enhanced production of specialized cells. She also has extensive experience in the optimization of cell culture systems for the production of mammalian cells.
