Privacy Policy — Universal Form Autofill with Job Search
Universal Form Autofill with Job Search ("the extension") helps you store the personal details you reuse on job and application forms, copy them into any form, and discover jobs relevant to your country. This policy explains exactly what the extension does with your data.
Summary
We do not collect, store, sell, share, or transmit your personal data.
Everything you enter stays on your own device, inside your browser's local storage (chrome.storage.local).
There are no analytics, no trackers, and no accounts.
Information the extension handles (stored locally only)
The following is saved only in your browser on your device and is never sent to us or anyone else:
Form details you enter — for example name, parents' names, date of birth, national ID, address, education, phone, and email.
Your chosen interface language.
Your detected or selected country (used to pick relevant job sources).
Jobs you save ("starred" jobs).
You can remove this data at any time using "Delete All" in the extension, by unstarring saved jobs, or by uninstalling the extension (which erases all of it). Because it is stored locally, clearing your browsing history does not delete it — only these actions do.
Network requests
The extension only contacts the internet to show job listings and to detect your country. It talks to these public services:
Job listings / search: alljobs.teletalk.com.bd, storage.googleapis.com (bdjobs), arbeitnow.com, remotive.com, jobicy.com, themuse.com, remoteok.com, and duckduckgo.com.
Country detection: get.geojs.io, which reads your IP address to return a two-letter country code. We do not store your IP address.
When you search for jobs, your typed keyword and country name are sent to the job services above so they can return results. Your saved form details are never included in any network request. These third-party services have their own privacy policies, which govern the requests they receive.
Permissions and why they are used
storage — save your form fields, language, country, and saved jobs on your device.
sidePanel — the extension's interface runs in the browser side panel.
alarms — periodically check whether new jobs were posted today for your country.
notifications — show a badge/notification when new jobs are posted today.
downloads — download a government result PDF to your device when you choose to.
host permissions — fetch job listings and country information from the services listed above.
Data sharing and selling
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third party, and we do not use it for advertising or any purpose unrelated to the extension's single function.
Children
The extension is a general-purpose productivity tool and is not directed to children under 13.
