A collection of emulators of old Univac hardware. Some by me, some not.
This web site is a work in progress. It will be improved and expanded as time permits. The 9200/9300, 1005, 494 and 90/30 emulators shown below were written by me.
9200/9300
An emulator for 9200/9300 systems, including original Univac assembler, linker and utilities.
1005
An emulator for 1005 systems, including original Univac assembler and utilities.
494
An emulator for 494 systems. No original Univac software could be found so this includes a reverse engineered assembler, linker, operating system and utilities.
Univac I
An emulator for Univac I systems. This is not one of mine. It is a bare bones emulator with no assembler.
1100/40
An emulator for 1100/40 systems. This is not one of mine. It is a bare bones emulator that runs under MS/DOS. There is no assembler or other software included.
90/30
An emulator for Sperry*Univac 90/30 systems. It includes a copy of OS/3 Release 4.2 which includes all utilities and compilers.
1103A Atlas
An emulator for ERA/Univac 1103A systems. This is not one of mine. I found this emulator moldering on Bitsavers. I dusted it off, fixed a few bugs and added an assembler to make it more useful.
