We provide an exclusive experience for parents with our program intentionally designed by community voice. Staff, volunteers, and parents come together bi-weekly to brainstorm, create, execute programs for single parents as we prepare to re-launch services.

We strive to provide quality services to meet our community needs. In order to do so, we need our community’s voice. United Parents is a part of a National Cohort that brings parents and providers together to bridge the gap between the system, service providers, and families. Here we allow your voice to be heard and be a vital part in change!

These monthly meeting are designed for parents to come together with other parents and build community. This opens doors for tough conversations, supporting each other, children making new friends, networking, and much more! Allow us to be a part of your village.
Hygiene Closet
Hygiene Closet
Our hygiene closet is equipped with everything from soap, body wash, shampoo and conditioner, deodorant, make-up, lotion, toothbrushes, toothpaste, wash cloths, fresh socks, feminine wipes, face wash, laundry soap and often other cosmetic items depending on our donations. All items are available for single parent families.

Parentville is an amazing hub for parents to get resource information in Muskegon County.
Do you ever run out of ideas for dinner or meal plans? This takes the guess work out of it!

Building our village one single parent family at a time!
A number of factors have fueled the rise in single-parent families. For instance: More people are opting to marry later in life, skip marriage altogether and have kids outside of marriage.
Within single-parent families, most children — 14.5 million — live in mother-only households. More than 6 million kids live with cohabitating parents and 3.5 million kids live in father-only households
Single parents are also more likely to live in poverty when compared to cohabiting couples, and single mothers are much more likely to be poor compared to single fathers.

I derive from a state of integrity, grind, and undiscovered greatness. From Michigan, I acquired the values of family first, unified community, and perseverance. Because of those values, I am a dedicated, patient, caring woman with the aspiration to empower all single parent families to overcome together, and use their struggle as their strength to create their village. As a single mother, I had to create opportunities where there were none. I had to design my village where there wasn’t one and make room for others to excel and flourish next to me. If I could do one thing for the rest of my life, I would dwell in my purpose of being a wife and mother to my fullest potential and in my free time, spread love and kindness to the darkest places in the world leaving my mark and adding value to everything I touch along the way.
