Tinashe Blanchet

Tinashe Blanchet is a former high school math teacher with over 15 years of experience in education and teacher training. She currently travels around the United States to train hundreds of teachers on using technology to enhance their instruction each year. Tinashe has built a strong reputation as a skilled communicator and tech-savvy educator and has presented at local, state, national, and international education conferences and events. With a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction, Tinashe also teaches practicing educators at Tulane University.

Wiley Brazier

Mr. Brazier is an award winning veteran Educator who has served as a Science Teacher, Secondary Principal and Central Office Administrator for district and state agencies. He was the Founding Principal of the Lewisville Night High School in Lewisville, Texas. Under his leadership the school made a major positive impact for at-risk and non-traditional students in the district which led to him replicating his efforts in Dallas ISD where he was also the Founding Principal of the John Leslie Patton, Jr. Academic Center. This school helped Dallas ISD to reach its largest graduation cohort at that time.


He is a leadership & technology integration consultant as well as a featured speaker for conferences across the United States and Canada. He is the co-founder of #LaEdChat, Louisiana’s online professional learning network (Established in 2014) and the Google Education Group Leader for Louisiana. Mr. Brazier earned a letter grade of A from the Louisiana Department of Education and purchased the first set of Chromebooks in the state’s 2nd largest school district. He also led all Chromebook pilots for the district's 1:1 Initiative which now impacts students across the district with over 30,000 Chromebooks.


Mr. Brazier holds multiple educational and industry based certifications (Adobe, Apple, Google, Microsoft, etc.) and serves an ambassador for the future of leadership in K-12 education. Among other awards, he was selected to receive the 2019 ISTE Education Leaders Network Award for Exemplary Leadership. This award recognizes an education leader who sets the essential conditions necessary for teachers and students to leverage technology to enhance learning.

Tami Brewster

Tami Brewster is a passionate elementary educator, Apple Teacher and Apple Distinguished Educator from Montreal. Realizing that her students need to understand the world they interact with, Tami works to develop a learning environment to best meet the diverse needs of her learners. She strives to make learning interesting, attainable, and enjoyable for her students. She feels strongly about the importance of equity in the classroom, and says that as a teacher she needs to model taking risks and trying new things.

Martine Brown

Martine (MAR-TEEN) Brown is a driven and dedicated education professional with 15 years experience in advancing the classroom landscape by leading technology integration for students and teachers.As an instructional coach, she is highly skilled at encouraging staff to modernize learning techniques to seamlessly integrate digital tools in the instructional environment. Coaching, training and mentoring individuals and teams to improve instructional practices to elevate student performance is at the core of her work in schools and districts.Martine’s deep passion for instructional coaching led her to write 21 Lessons of Tech Integration Coaching,a series of practical tips and reflective experiences to aid edtech coaches as they navigate instructional support in schools. In her current role as a Digital Learning Facilitator, she provides school and district level professional development, job-embedded support for effective strategies for future ready schools, and models effective instructional and digital strategies with teachers and instructional leaders.In her free time, she likes to cook and spend quality time with her husband Kevin, and children Devin, Maxwell, and Charlotte.Her mantra is Every Student Counts, and it is her mission to be a catalyst of change in education.

Shaina Glass

Shaina Glass is currently the Coordinator of Technology Applications (including Computer Science/STEM) in Aldine Independent School District. She is also the President of CSTA Greater Houston and Program Manager for Code.org at Rice University.

Chanel Johnson

Chanel Johnson is a STEM Educator and founder of BeSTEMtastic LLC. Additionally,she . She leads her district in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math standards, pedagogy and best practices. More importantly, she shows them how they can integrate technology with great instructional strategies and often leads professional development around understanding content. Furthermore, Chanel works as a district curriculum leader to help teachers and schools to see how they can use technology in more transformative ways and aligning to the demands of standards. Lastly, she has conducted several professional developments in training coaches, educators, and instructional leaders. She has presented at ISTE 2018-2019, NSTA 2017-2019 and at the Georgia Educational Technology Conference. She serves as ASCD 2019 Emerging Leader and She is a Microsoft Innovator Educator and Trainer.

Mike Lang

In 17 years as an educator, Mike has been blessed to have learned with amazing students. After stops in Mississippi and Taiwan, he currently serves as a technology instructor in Las Vegas, NV. He has been honored as an Apple Distinguished Educator, PBS Digital Innovator, and Teach Plus fellow.

Dee Lanier

Dee Lanier is an Educational Technologist and Equity Enthusiast. Dee is a passionate and energetic educator and learner with over a decade of instructional experience on the K-12 and collegiate level. Dee holds Undergraduate and Master’s degrees in Sociology with special interests in education, race relations, and inequality. Dee is an award winning presenter, TEDx Speaker, Google Certified Trainer and Innovator that specializes in creative applications for mobile devices and Chromebooks, low-cost makerspaces, and gamified learning experiences. Dee is a founding mentor and architect for the Google Coaching program pilot, Dynamic Learning Project, and a co-founder of Our Voice Academy, a program aimed at empowering educators of color to gain greater visible leadership and recognized expertise. Dee is also the creator of the blended-learning educational activities called, Solve in Time!®️ and Maker Kitchen™️.

Jamila “Mia” Leonard

Jamila “Mia” Leonard has been teaching Kindergarten in Chicago Public Schools for the past 10 years. Since December of 2012, Mia has been integrating iPads in her kindergarten classroom. Mia explores innovative methods to transform teaching and learning and empower her young students daily. She leverages self-created differentiated videos, Twitter, and creative digital tools to scaffold learning for her students and create new opportunities for self-expression. Mia holds a Master’s Degree in Education from National Louis University. Mia is a Level 2 Google Certified Educator, Google Certified Innovator, PBS Digital Innovator, and Seesaw Ambassador. In addition to teaching, Mia coaches primary teachers at her school around technology implementation. She served as a Co-Chair on the 2018 ISTE Posters Commit and continues to speak regularly on how to amplify the voices of our littlest learners through technology at conferences and events across the country. Tara Linney

Tara is an international, award-winning educator, who has helped several schools nationally and internationally with launching and sustaining effective 1:1 programs over the course of the last decade. In 2016, she received the 21st Century Learning Award for Innovation in Educational Coaching. She holds a B.A. in Mass Communications from the University of South Florida, and an M.S. in the Science of Instruction from Drexel University. She also holds a certification as an Instructional Technology Specialist. Since the start of her career in Education, Tara has played an active role in many professional communities. In 2017, she served as the ISTE Global Collaboration PLN President, where she led an organizational pivot to focus on SDGs in Education. She is currently an active leader of both the ISTE Global Collaboration PLN and the Computer Science PLN. In addition to her work in the PLN teams, Tara is also an ISTE Certified Educator.

Her understanding of how technology fits in education is vast. Tara holds credentials as an ASCD Emerging Leader, Raspberry Pi Certified Educator, Seesaw Ambassador, and a Google for Education Educator, Innovator, Trainer, and Mentor. She has had the privilege to speak at over 100 conferences in 10 different countries and online, impacting the work of thousands of educators all around the world. In 2018, Tara authored and published the book, Code Equity: Keying Girls into Coding, as a guide for educators looking to make a more equitable learning environment for their students, particularly in the teaching of computer science topics. Her overall mission is to create a culture of equitable learning conditions for learners of all ages.

Regina Schaffer

Regina Schaffer is an Educational Technology Specialist in a suburban district in New Jersey. She has spoken and presented nationally, is currently a member of the NJ State PLC for Access to technology and STEM careers, and is a recipient of the 2016 National School Board Association's 20 to Watch award. She is also a thought leader for the Future Ready Instructional Coaches Strand. Regina is a co-author of the ISTE Digital equity series, Closing the Gap.

Al Thomas

Al Thomas is an educational leader with a passion for creativity and the opportunities it can provide for students. He has more than eighteen years in the field of education as a teacher, principal, district-level director, and consultant. His passion is to develop and curate unique and innovative solutions that improve learning for all and to inspire educators by sharing inspirational stories through various forms of visual storytelling. He believes that if we are to prepare students for future success, we must equip them with creative problem-solving skills that harness their talents and abilities. Currently, he consults with schools on building systems and staff capacity to transform teaching and leadership by using creativity, technology integration, and design thinking. Sarah-Jane Thomas, Ph.D.

Sarah-Jane Thomas, PhD is a Regional Technology Coordinator in Prince George’s County Public Schools. Sarah is also a Google Certified Innovator, Google Education Trainer, and founder of the EduMatch project, which promotes connection and collaboration among educators around the world. Through EduMatch, Sarah has published several collaborative and individual books, and serves as President on the Board of Directors for EduMatch Foundation, Inc. Sarah is also on the leadership team of the ISTE Digital Equity PLN, and Affiliate Faculty at Loyola University in Maryland. Sarah is a co-author of the ISTE publication series, Closing the Gap, focusing on digital equity.

Sarah graduated from George Mason University with a doctoral degree in Education, and a concentration in International Education. She also holds a Master’s degree from Howard University in the field of Curriculum and Instruction.

Sarah was designated an ASCD Emerging Leader in 2016, and was named Prince George's County Public Schools Outstanding Educator Using Technology in 2015. She was named by the National School Board Association as one of the “20 to Watch” in 2015. She was part of the Technical Working Group that refreshed the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) Standards for Educators in 2016-2017, and in 2017, she received the ISTE “Making IT Happen” Award.

Misty Trevino

Misty is a Digital Learning Consultant with Region 10 Education Service Center. She collaborates with schools and districts across the North Texas region with the goal of providing hands on, relevant professional learning experiences that empower educators to leverage technology in transformative ways.

Misty is a Google Certified Innovator #LAX18, Google Certified Trainer, and she will be starting course work for UNT's Doctorate of Philosophy in Learning Technologies program at UNT this fall.

Jason Trinh

Jason Trinh is a Hybrid-Teacher Digital Lead Learner for the Toronto District School Board working as a classroom teacher and as an educational technology coach. He is a Google Certified Innovator, Apple Distinguished Educator and is the recipient of the Ontario Premier’s Award for Teaching Excellence as well as the ISTE Digital Equity award. He is the founder of Racialized EDU, a collective of educators curating and creating content focused on diversity and equity and a member of the Our Voice Academy. Jason is an innovative educator who shares his passion for creativity, technology and equity as a published writer and speaker throughout North America.

Bianca A. Woodard

Bianca A. Woodard was born on Fort Bragg, NC into a military family. She currently lives in Augusta Georgia and teaches AP Human Geography, government, and Economics at Midland Valley High School in Graniteville SC. She’s a graduate of Augusta University’s Pamplin College of Arts and Sciences where she obtained her Bachelors degree in History.

She began her teaching career in 2015 after over 15 years in corporate America as a trainer, manager, and SAP project team member at a Fortune 500 Appliance Company. She’s traveled and trained new hires all over the world in the art of customer service and troubleshooting. She’s an Apple Distinguished Educator class of 2017, a Quizlet teacher Ambassador, and a Microsoft Innovative Educator. She’s Literacy certified and Gifted and Talented endorsed. She strives to expose students to culture through music, art, and literature through social studies. You’ll often find her at church where she sings and directs the choir, coaching basketball, listening to NPR, or watching the latest British costume drama.
