The United Left Coalition is a safe space to promote unity and cooperation between leftist groups, people, and students on campus, as a divided left is ineffective against capitalism and the imperialist strategy. By uniting the students under one banner, the coalition allows for a strong front and a united agenda for all causes.
WE ARE:
Anti-Capitalist
Anti-Colonization
Environmental Restoration
Pro-Choice
Wealth Redistribution
Anti-Imperialist
Pro-Labor
Pro-Solidarity
Pro-Liberation
Pro-Emancipation
Pro-Abolition
We have hosted dozens of meetings on campus. This has facilitated deep theoretical discussion and guest speakers with practical knowledge. Our structure allows for students to lead discussions and decide on the coming weeks topics. Even allowing students to host team building exercises to create a sense of community. These environments foster good faith discussion and critical thinking. We encourage students to present their own perspective to paint a complete picture of the ideological spectrum that exists on the left.
We organized a May Day protest and panel on May 1st 2025 in solidarity with workers across the world. Though we are students today we will soon join the work force, if we haven't already. We marched from NAU's Union to Flagstaff City Hall. Among many other protesters we made our voices heard as students standing in solidarity with workers. After this we returned to campus to host a panel on the History of May Day Dr. Lella, Chamberlin, Bauler-Pereira, Lefty and Bar spoke on a myriad of topics ranging from the historic May Day itself to the future of a techno-feudal order .
We stand firm in our commitment to complete solidarity on the left. We will always help in any way possible when a fellow organization calls for aid. We recently helped contribute over 200 cans of food for ASA's food drive. Additionally, we marched alongside SOMOS for a Gaza Vigil. We, frequently, work hand in hand with Planned Parenthood Generation (PPGEN). We share events and information mutually to benefit both the clubs and students. The last one we'll mention is the NAMA fashion show "Viva La Revolution". We had members participate in this emotionally provocative fashion production.
