What is the United Friends of America?

The United Friends of America, or UFA,  is a nation located in Eastern Pennsylvania.

Is it a real country?

It is a real country, but not a sovereign state per se, as it is not recognized by any other nation and its territory is largely under United States sovereignty.

So, a micronation?

Yes.

Is it a cult/violent organization?

Definitely not, and we do not condone such activities whatsoever.

Is it serious?

The UFA is to be taken as seriously as you wish. Our government takes its job very seriously, but we like to have fun.

Who founded the UFA?

The state was founded on April 22, 2024, following a vote by its 11 citizens at the time to ratify the Constitution. No one person can truly be the sole founder of a nation-state, and contributions to the Americonian identity come from many different individuals. However, Auden Watts designed the country's name and flag, and drafted its Constitution as well.

Do you have to attend the United Friends School to join the UFA?

No, you do not. The majority of our current population does not currently attend UFS.

How do I join the UFA?

Submit the Application to Join the United Friends of America. Note that if you do not know at least three Americonians in real life, there is a good chance you will not be admitted as a citizen (unless you are a part of a new governate).

What does Americonian mean?

Americonian is the demonym for the United Friends of America. It is what we call people, entities, and things that are part of or originate from the UFA.

So the UFA is Americonia?

Not at all.

Who is the government of the UFA?

What are tokens?

Tokens are the currency of the United Friends of America. They have been in use in some form or another since 2023.

How much are tokens worth?

The claim that 1 token is equivalent to 15¢ in USD is inaccurate and outdated. According to an executive order by President Aiden Jacob, 10 tokens are equivalent to a 1 oz bag of Cheez-It crackers. The UFA is not a command evonomy, so the value of tokens is difficult to strictly regulate and fluctuated based on the demands of the market.

How can I get tokens?

You can get tokens by selling goods and services or applying for a private or government job, just like in any other economy. You can also become a recipient of UBI (universal basic income), which gives members an income of 150 tokens per month.
