The Memorial Garden at the Unitarian Church of Westport

The Memorial Garden at the Unitarian Church of Westport is located at 10 Lyons Plain Road in Westport. It is a unique layout, with sitting areas surrounded by rock walls at the top and bottom of a staircase which winds through a field of plaques that commemorate the deceased. There wasn't a lot to photograph; I mainly took the opportunity to pay my respects to Brett Somers (information and photograph of her plaque, below).

Estimated number of interments, as of February 2025: at least 13.

"Brett Somers

July 11, 1924 - September 15, 2007"

Brett Somers (born Audrey Johnson) was a stage and television actress. She is most popularly known as a regular panelist on the 1970's game show, Match Game. She was also married to actor Jack Klugman (The Odd Couple, Quincy, M.E.) from 1953 to 1977.
