In a bid to demystify the process of language acquisition, this site incorporates several educational theories that have been proved to be thoroughly sound in regards to these theories with respect to language acquisition, one being the Social Constructivism theory posited by Vygotsky, which explains the necessity of interpersonal interactions in the learning process and the other being that of Cognitive Development theory as posited by Piaget, in which he integrates language development into the overall development of the intellectual fluency. This is also further provided by the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), which states that effective communication needs to be made and that the development of a learning environment which stimulates language among the learners should be made since conception to early childhood. All these theories emphasise that children learn and develop practically through interaction, exploration and meaningful communication.
