If you want a lightweight, flexible storage solution for up to three long guns in any passenger vehicle including electric vehicles, choose UNISTRENGH Seat Back Gun; if you need a rugged, permanent steel mount for two firearms or bows specifically in the rear window of a pickup truck or off-road utility vehicle, choose Malufain Truck Gun Rack.
• UNISTRENGH Seat Back Gun: Strengths lie in its versatility across multiple vehicle types and ability to hold up to three rifles without tools; trade-off is the reliance on headrest tension rather than a fixed structural mount.
• Malufain Truck Gun Rack: Built from heavy-duty steel alloy for maximum rigidity and torsion resistance in high-speed or off-road conditions; trade-off is that it requires a rear window opening and is limited to two firearms or bows.
• The UNISTRENGH pick is ideal for hunters who need to transport gear in sedans, SUVs, or EVs where drilling or permanent mounting is not an option.
• The Malufain pick is designed for owners of pickups, ATVs, and UTVs who prioritize stability and space maximization in the cargo area.
The UNISTRENGH Seat Back Gun Sling Rack is engineered for the hunter or shooter who values flexibility above all else. Its primary design feature is the ability to hang directly across the headrests of a car seat, requiring absolutely no tools, screws, or adhesive to install. This makes it an immediate solution for anyone who needs to secure their equipment quickly before hitting the road. The unit is constructed from high-strength 600D Oxford fabric, which provides a durable surface that resists wear while keeping the overall weight low. This material choice ensures the rack remains unobtrusive when not in use, yet strong enough to support the weight of your gear during transit.
This product shines in environments where the vehicle interior must remain pristine. Because it relies on friction and the structure of the headrests rather than bolts or clamps, it leaves no marks on upholstery or paint. You can easily move it between different cars, trucks, or even store it inside the home when not needed. The capacity to hold up to three guns simultaneously is a significant advantage for families or groups heading out together. Whether you are carrying shotguns, rifles, or even non-firearm items like umbrellas or toys, the open sling design accommodates various lengths and shapes with ease.
However, this product is not suitable for those who drive exclusively in heavy off-road conditions or high-speed highway scenarios where vibration could loosen a hanging object. Since the rack depends on the tension of the headrests, extreme jolts might cause the unit to shift slightly more than a bolted-down system. It is also strictly limited to vehicles with standard headrests that can support the width of the rack. If you drive a compact car with narrow headrest spacing or a vehicle where the seats do not have removable headrests, this solution may not fit. It is best suited for drivers who want a portable, temporary, yet secure way to keep their firearms locked away and organized during daily commutes or weekend trips to the range.

The Malufain Truck Gun Rack serves a very specific and demanding audience: the owner of a pickup truck, ATV, or UTV who needs a permanent, industrial-grade storage solution. Unlike the fabric-based sling, this rack is crafted from thick, high-strength steel alloy in a one-piece design. This construction method delivers outstanding rigidity, ensuring that the unit resists both compression and torsion forces that occur during off-roading or driving at high speeds. The goal here is zero movement; the steel frame is engineered to keep your firearms and bows completely stable, preventing accidental drops or damage caused by road vibrations.
One of the most critical features for this user group is the "no drill" installation into the rear window space. While it is a heavy-duty steel piece, it fits securely without requiring you to cut holes in your vehicle's body or compromise the structural integrity of the window frame. This preserves the original look of the vehicle while maximizing available space. The rack holds two firearms or bows, effectively consolidating your gear into a single compact footprint. By utilizing the vertical space of the rear window, it keeps your cargo bed or back seat clear for other essential items like coolers, camping chairs, or extra ammunition.
This product is built for harsh conditions. The noise-free performance rating suggests that the steel construction and mounting mechanism are designed to eliminate rattling, a common issue with lighter materials when driving on rough terrain. If you frequently navigate dirt roads, gravel paths, or steep inclines, the stability provided by this rigid steel mount is superior to any fabric alternative. However, this comes with a strict limitation on vehicle type. It is designed specifically for the geometry of pickup trucks and utility vehicles with a rear window opening. It will not work in a sedan, a standard SUV with a liftgate that does not accommodate the mount, or any vehicle lacking the specific rear window profile required for the torsion bar mechanism. It is a dedicated tool for serious outdoor enthusiasts who treat their vehicle as a mobile base camp.
• Best for multi-vehicle versatility → UNISTRENGH Seat Back Gun, as it works in sedans, SUVs, minivans, and trucks without modification.
• Best for off-road durability → Malufain Truck Gun Rack, due to its heavy-duty steel alloy build that withstands high-torsion and compression.
• Best for capacity → UNISTRENGH Seat Back Gun, which holds up to three rifles compared to the Malufain's limit of two.
• Best for space optimization → Malufain Truck Gun Rack, because it utilizes the rear window vertical plane without blocking passenger seating.
• Best for tool-free portability → UNISTRENGH Seat Back Gun, since it hangs on headrests and can be moved instantly between vehicles.
• Best for noise reduction → Malufain Truck Gun Rack, engineered specifically to prevent movement and rattling during high-speed travel.
• Best for electric vehicles → UNISTRENGH Seat Back Gun, offering a non-invasive storage method that preserves interior space in modern EV cabins.
• Best for bow and arrow storage → Malufain Truck Gun Rack, explicitly designed to accommodate bows alongside firearms in a secure, upright position.
In my opinion, the choice between these two products comes down entirely to your vehicle type and how you plan to use it. If you own a sedan, SUV, or an electric vehicle and need a quick, adaptable way to carry up to three long guns without damaging your interior, the UNISTRENGH Seat Back Gun is the clear winner. Its fabric construction and headrest mounting make it the most practical solution for everyday drivers who value convenience over brute strength. Conversely, if you drive a pickup truck or off-road vehicle and need a rock-solid, vibration-proof mount for two firearms or bows, the Malufain Truck Gun Rack is the only logical choice. Its steel construction offers peace of mind that fabric simply cannot match in rugged conditions. I would personally buy the UNISTRENGH for my daily driver to keep things simple, but I would switch to the Malufain whenever I hit the trails in my truck.
