Abstract: In this talk, we will give an explicit upper bound of the average analytic rank of elliptic curves with a prescribed level structure, under the Hasse-Weil conjecture and generalized Riemann hypothesis for the elliptic curve L-functions. After introducing the previous results and an overview of the proof, we will focus on how recent results on counting rational points in the weighted projective spaces due to Deng, Phillips, and Bruin-Manterola Ayala have been used for our results. This is a joint work with Peter J. Cho and Junyeong Park.
