The Florida Region has 5 computer labs with 140 computers. The computer labs is located in the Anton Lembede Building, 2nd floor. Students can use the computers for all their UNISA related studies. We also have computers for students with disabilities such as students that is blind.
Students registered for one of the following Signature Modules like EUP1501, SJD1501, BPT1501, AFL1501 can access the computer labs to do and submit the assignments. Training and workshops for some of these modules will also be taking place.
All current UNISA students can use the labs for any of their UNISA studies, such as assignments, research, online practical exams or any activity related to their studies.
In the labs there is Digital Learning Advisors (DLA's) that can assist students with the following:
Accessing in claiming myUnisa, myLife account
Assist in accessing MyUNISA and MyLife
Assist in resetting MyUNISA password
Office 365 help
MyITLab help for online / signature module
WiFi connection to personal devices
Installing and downloading Office 365 (on own devices)

Students can also make use of the Wi-Fi on the campus. The Wi-Fi is free to all students, so if you want to work on your own laptop or tablet you can. The DLA's at the Computer labs will also assist with the Wi-Fi setup if you need help.

UNISA also offers a service to students in rural areas that can not get to the UNISA campus. We have a number of Telecentres. These centres offer student access to computers, printers and scanners. For a list of the centre, please click here.
