While there are countless federations for these unions, there are safety rules that were made by USDL which has allowed for every worker to stay safe whilst working. Unfortunately, since the USDL cannot be everywhere at once to enforce the guidelines and regulations, some workers have either tried to cut corners or have gotten into accidents due to faulty equipment.
Despite the experience that may be shown through age with the Union, according to the anonymous survey that was performed, we were able to distinguish that experience wasn't the only issue, but the training and safety equipment new hires and students may have received wasn't enough to show them why they should follow the USDL's guidelines.
Did you know that back in 1983 the Union workforce had and all time high for workers in the United States? They had hit 20.1% out of the entire United States workforce. Though, due to problems with safety concerns, wage problems, and overall performance the Trade Union has been declining ever since. So far in the past year, the Union is comprised of 16.3% of the United States' workforce.
Though it doesn't sound as bad as one might think, due to the United State Department of Labor not being able to consistently enforcing the regulations, 22% percent of that Trade Union gets in accidents every year, which sometimes causes life-long injuries to occur.
