How do I join?

All sophomores with a qualifying GPA will receive an invitation to join during their English class. The invitation will direct them to fill out a membership contract and how to pay their dues. They will NOT be an official member until they complete their volunteer requirements.

What are the requirements?

1. Attend the TWO mandatory meetings (one in the fall, one in the spring)

make-up meetings will be available through the NHS Canvas

2. Complete the two volunteer checkpoints

   • Five hours by Christmas break logged on mobileserve

   • Five hours completed by the END of Spring Break, logged on mobileserve

We encourage all students to complete as many hours as they can BEFORE the Spring semester as spring can get very busy. Failure to meet the spring deadline means you will NOT be able to attend the Induction Ceremony.
